On November 9, 2006 Northern Ohio Live held their annual Rainmaker’s breakfast award ceremony to honor the accomplishments of twelve talented businesswomen in Northeast Ohio. Dorothy Baunach, President and CEO of NorTech was one of the women selected to receive this year’s prestigious Rainmaker award.
Dorothy was recognized in the category of Technology, specifically for her efforts and accomplishments in technology-based economic development in Northeast Ohio over the past 23 years.
The Rainmaker award honors influential businesswomen and their outstanding ability to make it "rain dollars" for their organization, as well as other significant attributes and activities, such as leadership and community involvement. These women strive for balance between their careers and their personal lives. They are creative leaders who effect change in themselves and in others. They are role models, mentors and magnets for people attracted to excellence.
